Janet, age 78, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on August 28, 2026. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.on September 19, 2026, with brief remarks at 12 noon.
Janet is survived by her son, Gregory McDonald; daughter-in-law, Lori; and grandsons, Connor and Logan. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent together.
Janet dedicated over 39 years to government service, taking great pride in her commitment to serving the public. Her work ethic and sense of duty were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Janet’s legacy of service and integrity will be remembered by all who knew her.
Outside of her professional life, Janet was an avid tennis player, enjoying matches several times a week. She also loved taking cruises with her family, creating lasting memories on the open seas. Janet’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones touched the lives of many.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
