Norman D. St. Jean, 77, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. Born on February 3, 1947, in West Warwick, Rhode Island, he was the beloved son of the late Celia and Aldor St. Jean.
Norman graduated from West Warwick High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service, he transitioned into a successful career in Human Respurces (HR), where his dedication and leadership left a lasting impact.
Norman is survived by his devoted wife, Linda St. Jean; his brother Robert (Bob) St. Jean; nephews Paul St. Jean and Mark St. Jean (deceased); grandnieces and a grandnephew; great-grand nieces; as well as numerous cousins who cherished him dearly.
A man of many passions, Norman was a wine enthusiast and an active member of sushi and wine clubs. He had an adventurous spirit that led him and his sweetheart, Linda, to travel the world and they shared a love for sailing that brought him peace on the water. An avid golfer and talented cook, Norman found joy in entertaining friends and family with his culinary creations and warm hospitality.
In honor of Norman’s life and legacy, memorial contributions may be made to Homes for Our Troops, reflecting his enduring commitment to supporting others.
Norman will be remembered for his zest for life, his generosity in sharing good food and wine with loved ones, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
A celebration of life service for Norman will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211, followed by a reception following service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
