Patricia was born on July 7, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Leo and Marie (Gilboy) Kelly. She was a graduate of South Boston High School. Over the years Pat spent some time in the workforce, but her main focus was being a devoted wife and stay-at-home mom.
Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Charles Daniel McGeever. During their retirement years, "Pat and Danny" loved life as snowbirds in Citrus Hills, soaking up the warm Florida sunshine. Patricia also was a talented crafter and enjoyed gifting many of her creations to friends and family.
Patricia was the loving mother of Kelly Buchanan and her husband, Andrew, of Bradenton, Florida and Adam McGeever, and his wife Summer, of Massachusetts. She was the dear sister of Kathleen Conway and her husband Daniel, of Summerfield, Florida. Pat was the cherished grandmother, "Nana" of Sean Buchanan and Bridget McGeever. She is also survived by her many friends and family members who loved her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours on Thursday, August 27, from 5-7 PM, with a prayer service starting at 5 pm, at the Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton. Relatives and friends may also gather on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11 AM, at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, for a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 N Main St #104, Natick, MA 01760.
