You were always there for Your Mom and Dad when they need you most. I am so blessed to have them, Kathy, Sharon and Alex as my extended family.

I have been thinking of you a lot today. I hope you are reunited in heaven with Mom, Dad and Bruce. It's been two years since you left us and even more since I've seen you. I wish you had reached out to us. So many memories missed. Mark loved you like a brother and and talks about all the wonderful times you had together. You and I used to be so close. You were a friend, family historian, storyteller, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Though you are no longer here on this earth with us, I look forward to seeing you in heaven one day. You were always there for Your Mom and Dad when they need you most.  I am so blessed to have them, Kathy, Sharon and Alex as my extended family.

Irvington, New York. Summer night in the late Seventies - maybe 1977 or 78? I can still bring back that summer evening in my mind. I was barefoot, dusk was setting in, but still enough daylight left to eat popsicles on the driveway with friends. I was probably seven or eight years old. Soon we would beg our parents to let us stay out after dark to play flashlight tag with friends. But before all that, you took me for a ride on the back of your motorcycle. Down Maple Street, right turn onto Station Rd., through the tunnel under the aqueduct that our grandpa had painted. I remember the wind in my hair, my little hands holding on tight to you, and Boston's 'More than a Feeling' playing on the radio. It was a time of pure innocence, happiness, and immense love for my big brother who always made time for his little sisters. To this day, whenever I hear that song, all I can think of is you and that summer night in the 70s in small town New York. You are missed beyond measure. <3

Thinking of you this week as your birthday approaches. I can still hear your voice, always with an encouraging word. What a pillar of strength for our family. When we lost Mom and Dad, we always looked up to you, our big brother, to keep our family memories alive. We miss that so much now. We will do our best to honor your life and memory for the rest of ours. Please know you are so loved and respected. Our thoughts and prayers are also with Sue who misses you so much. Love you.

Mark and I are missing you extra hard lately Rob. You should still be here enjoying life.  Miss the good old days of just hanging out and having fun. Wish we could have spent more time with you in your later years but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I would have loved our 4 kids to get to know you. They would have loved you, and you them. It has been a year without you Rob. We think of you every day and miss you beyond measure.

Dear Rob, I hope you know how much you are loved and how proud I was to have you as my brother.  Growing up on Maple Street, I have so many fond memories as a child and many of them involve you.  One of the earliest was when I was starting school, you bought me a yellow sweater and a purple velvet skirt.  I loved that outfit and was so proud that my brother bought it for me.  You used to take us out for rides in your Trans Am and we thought we were so cool blasting the radio.  Or the rides on the back of your motorcycle up and down the street.  As kids, we always wanted a pet, but Mom was not too keen on the idea.  One day, you appeared home with a beautiful Siamese kitten that we called Sunshine and we were so thrilled. At Christmas, you bought me a Beach Boys album (my first) and I played it all day and drove everyone crazy.  I still have it.  When you went off to college, you regularly sent letters to Sharon and I making us feel so important.  After you got married, I can remember all the times you and Sue would visit us in Chicago.  One summer, we took a trip to the Wisconsin Dells to see the Tommy Bartlett show and it was freezing cold.  At night, we would all take the dogs for a walk and talk about everything.  Most recently, you came out to visit and take care of both Mom and Dad in their last weeks on this earth and made them so happy.  They were so very proud of you and all that you became and they loved you too Sue.  Thank you for being such a calming presence and a thoughtful listener when it was needed the most.  I know that you are now in Heaven with both Mom and Dad and that we will see you all again!  My heart goes out to you Sue as you learn to navigate this life without Rob.  I know that he loved you so much and we will always think of you as family and be here for you. We can all lean on each other now.  Thank you Rob for being such a good brother to us and making us feel so loved. You are missed beyond measure.

Uncle Bob, you know how much I always looked forward to visits with you and Aunt Sue. Some of my favorite childhood memories include bike rides, dog walks with Moose, tossing the football, visiting the St. Louis Arch, going to Grant’s Farm, and getting to see the Budweiser Clydesdales with you and Aunt Sue. Also riding the Mighty Mouse at Playland! You took me on my very first trip to New York City and I enjoyed walking through Central Park with you and getting lunch from one of the hot dog carts. I also remember you creating a customized computer program for me when I was very young and I would always ask Kathy to run it for me on her desktop. Thank you for being such a wonderful uncle. I will miss and love you forever. Aunt Sue, my heart goes out to you in this time of profound loss and I know that Uncle Bob will be with you always. Sending up prayers for you and our family as we mourn the loss of this kind and beloved man.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4

To my sweet, kind, amazing brother. I hope you knew just how much I loved you. How much I looked up to you. You radiated pure sunshine and joy and made everyone feel like they mattered. You were funny and smart and so talented in so many ways. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks reading and rereading our text stream on my phone. In doing so, I can still hear your voice and feel your presence and it somehow brings you back to life for me. You shined so bright, big brother. I miss you something awful, but I trust in Jesus that we will be reunited one day. Until then, know you held a huge place in my life  and in my heart - one that I will cherish for the rest of my days. I love you always. ♥️♥️♥️

The love of my life for 41 years was taken too soon and is my angel in heaven.  Rob was a very kind and loved by all.  We have beautiful memories of Bermuda, St. Martins and our travels through out our many years together.  He was very kind and supportive to  his parents and younger sisters.  You  couldn't ask for a kinder person.  My heart is broken.   I will always remember and celebrate the life we shared and our love and the difference he made in my life.  Until we meet again, I will always love you with all my heart.  To my husband and best friend. 

Dear Sue and family,
He was always such a kind and thoughtful man. He loved Sue and all the foster pets. He loved telling stories of them and sharing videos of the Yorkie pup  jumping in the pool. 

Thank you Bob for chatting with me when I walked by your house and for being patient with my dog when she would bark her head off at you. Your kindness was infectious and your love for your family was evident.
You will be missed!! I know that from above you will watch over Sue and all your family and furry children. Heaven is rejoicing that you are back where you belong!
