

Steven A. Belmonte, Sr, 71, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of East Boston and West Roxbury, MA, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2024. He was born in Boston, MA on May 20, 1953 to the late Carmela (Gualtieri) and Alexander Belmonte.
He attended Fitton School, graduating in 1971 and then onto Northeastern University graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Steven was employed for many years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Steven enjoyed watching Jeopardy. He was an avid collector of books, music, and sports memorabilia, especially WWF and Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed collecting and making model airplanes and cars, as well as exploring and travelling with his wife, kayaking and bicycling and talking to his beloved granddaughter, Evelyn, on the Google Show.
Steven will be remembered for his youthful, energetic and playful spirit. He was excellent at being resourceful, always a charismatic host, and had vast knowledge about an array of subjects. He loved sharing his collections and playing with his cats Belle and Monty
Steven is survived by his Wife Janice Kelly Belmonte, Daughter Lauren A. Belmonte, Son Steven (Lauren Eid) Belmonte, Jr., Granddaughter Evelyn Rose Belmonte, and Brother Alexander (Karen) Belmonte. He will be dearly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life in his memory will be held at the Waterfords Restaurant and Pub, 2 Bridge Street, Dedham, Massachusetts, 02026 on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
