Warren Louis Seay, of Lakewood Ranch, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the age of 68. He was born on August 6, 1957, in Richmond, Virginia, to Emmett and Leona Seay.
Warren graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 1974 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University in 1978. He dedicated much of his professional life to serving Chesterfield County, Virginia, where he worked with commitment and integrity until his retirement in 2015 as the Information Systems Technology application team lead.
Warren was a man of quiet intellect and dry wit, with a deep love for travel and trivia. He rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy! and had an impressive knack for recalling the most obscure facts. He was a devoted Catholic and member of the Our Lady of the Angels church community in Lakewood Ranch, FL. He also had a gentle, steady presence that brought comfort and calm to those around him.
Above all, Warren cherished his family. He is deeply missed by his loving wife of 21 years, Susan; his sisters, Sandy and Sherry; his children, Kristen (Joe), Anthony (Sam), Patrick (JZ), Mike (Crystal), and Chrissy; eleven grandchildren who brought him great joy; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Warren was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara who passed away in 1990; their daughter, Emily; his sister, Michelle; and his parents.
Warren’s legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the wisdom he offered, and the love he gave so generously to all who knew him.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2901 W Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
