It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angelo De Filippis on May 9, 2014 in his 74th year, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Giuseppina and his three sons Mike (Stefania), Enzo (Maria), Pat (Mary). Beloved brother of Vincenzo (Francesca), the late Pasquale and Maria (Frank). Brother in law to Anna (late Filippo), Rosa (Frank), Graziella (George) and the late Vito (Rosa). Cherished grandfather of Marco, Michela, Anthony, Alexander, Olivia, Julia, and Michelle. Dearly loved by his many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 11, 2014 at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, 905-456-8190) from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (940 North Park Drive, Brampton) on Monday May 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga ON). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
