Condolences to friends and family. My two girls were the first grand children of the late Ascomb v Johnson .because of him ,my girls got their first opportunity to travel on a plane to Florida. As kids when ever they went to visit the Johnson family ,when all they kids came out talking about their vacation ,my kids felt left out ,so he bought their ticket secretly and I felt great-full for that .
It was a very cold wintry day and I was out of pampers and had no one to turn to ,so I call my kids grannie and a few minutes later I saw him riding through the sloshy snow on his bike with the pampers in his bag ....it showed what compassionate person he was...no matter what circumstances nothing was to hard for him
I remember once the washing broke down ,and I had a big pile of dirty laundry .The next day when I got up ,my clothes was all washed and hanging out on the line to dry ..Mr Johnson I would alway remember your good deeds .one of the things my daughter said about her grandad “I have lost the best porridge maker....gone but your legacy will live on
