

Carol will be greatly missed by her spouse Ron, her mother Mary, her sisters Janet (Marvin), Lynne, Marie and her beloved cats Midnight & Daisy. She is predeceased by her father George and her stepfather Harold.
Carol was known for her love of animals. The family grew up on a farm where there were lots of animals (sheep, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks).
Carol was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, a fitness enthusiast and great supporter of many charities. Carol participated in the Terry Fox run for many years.
Carol enjoyed going on road trips & loved to explore Canada. Carol and Ron visited historical sites, museums, ballparks, and took scenic drives in both Canada and the U.S.A. They enjoyed cycling and walking the Trans Canada trail and enjoyed hiking in places like Algonquin Park & Mono Cliffs. Carol enjoyed visiting St. Jacob’s country many times a year.
She was a fantastic cook & always impressed her family & friends with her cooking skills.
Carol was known for her collections of interesting pins & brooches which she often wore.
She was an avid reader and still liked to read real newspapers which she would read start to finish. She had a great interest in current events and staying up to date.
Carol worked for Aramark (formerly Versa Foods) for over 30 years. She started out working sports and concert events at Exhibition Stadium, then in their cafeterias as a component manager. She then moved to the head office to work in their finance department as a finance coordinator. Carol graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Carol was a genuine and supportive person who affected so many with her engaging personality. Carol took great interest in the well being of others. She was a good listener and had empathy for others. Carol will be missed by all of those who knew her.
Family & friends can gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre 8190 Dixie Road (North of Steeles), Brampton, Ontario (905) 456-8190, on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 for a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. There will be a memorial visitation prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s memory may be made to Brampton Animal Services or to The Terry Fox Foundation.
