With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Christopher Scott, age 37 on May 19, 2026, after a long and difficult journey with mental illness. Though his struggles were heavy, they never defined the loving, kindhearted person he was. We take comfort in believing Chris has now found peace, healing, and rest in God’s embrace.
He was the cherished son of Linda and John (Inga), and the chosen son of the late Phil. Reunited with his grandparents John, Nancy and Barbara. Chris was the beloved little brother of Iain (Angie), Richard (Samantha), and Melissa (Ryan), and a proud uncle to Mckayla, Brayden, Logan, and Rose. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and all the lives he touched through his loyalty, humour and caring heart.
Though our hearts are broken, we hold onto the memories, laughter, and love he shared so freely.
May he rest in eternal peace, free from pain and surrounded by light and love.
