Monica, we feel a real loss and extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Dan will always be remembered as a person who loved his family. He was funny, cheerful, honest, dedicated and hard-working. He also loved God.

We were privileged to have known Dan as a dear friend for over forty-eight years and our family loves and cares about you and will always continue to uphold you in our prayers.

We spent such great times together every weekend at your home to playing board games and pass the time, Dan often was the winner and had the best jokes. During the summer months we took long trips picnicking in the parks.

Hold on to your treasured memories of the wonderful times and life you shared together and the great happiness that he brought to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. We will not for a moment forget his life, he will be missed dearly.

May God grant you peace and comfort at this time of grief. God loves you and so do we and always remember that "The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

Daniel Small was a cherished friend and loyal member of the Peel Guyanese Association for Guyana Health Relief. A Barbadian by birth, Dan, whose beloved wife Monica is a Guyanese, became involved in and committed to the aspirations of the PGA. Through his contacts at the Toronto General Hospital and other medical institutions, he played a pivotal role in helping us to procure medical equipment and supplies for shipment to Guyana.
Dan and Monica also supported us in our fundraising activities.

On behalf of the Executive and members of the PGA, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Monica and their extended family on the passing of our dear friend and colleague Dan. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
