David Dennis Kerr (VE3FGK – Silent Key), age 84, passed away peacefully in Brampton on Saturday, April 29, 2023. David is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret, and children John – VE3SVE (Shirley and Jimmy), Kathleen -VA3KKD (Chris) and Douglas. Sadly missed by sisters Vicki Keay and Colleen Sutcliffe and predeceased by his brother Thomas Kerr. David was a longtime amateur radio operator and was a founding member of the Peel Amateur Radio Club (Brampton). Retired from Bell Canada, he was a technology innovator, an electronics experimenter and a proud member of the Pioneers. Private funeral arrangements will take place at family’s request.
