Passed away peacefully in his 90th year on September 16, 2015 at
Sandalwood Villages, Brampton. Born in Chatham he spent his childhood in
London. An avid golfer and lawn bowler, Jab was an elementary school
principal in Welland and Professor at Hamilton Teachers' College.
Survived by his wife Helen Dickson, children Beverley (Robert) Warner
and Grant (Gail), grandchildren Ted and Ginny Warner, Matthew and Tyler
Pierce, Tyler and Devin Owens, step-children Kathy Dickson, Leslie
(Stephen) Owens and Rod Dickson.
Predeceased by his parents Edward Grant and Margaret (Askin), wife Dorothy Ann
(Haist), brothers Jack and Doug.
Funeral service will be held September 25 at 11 am at Mayfield United
Church, 12496 Dixie Rd, Caledon, ON.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
