

Elaine Alice Savage, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 12th. She was the epitome of love, kindness, and compassion, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and positivity that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Elaine's journey in life was intertwined with that of her husband, Mark, whom she adored. Their love story spanned 45 beautiful years until Mark's passing last year. Elaine found solace in their deep connection and cherished memories, and her unwavering love for Mark remained a constant source of strength throughout her life.
Elaine will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Jen (Tom), Tanya (Radek), and Alies (Ivan). She was a remarkable mother who provided unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love to her children.
Elaine's nurturing spirit extended to her role as a grandmother, and she cherished her five grandchildren—Sophie, Hunter, Isla, Ethan, and Adonis—with all her heart. She always made time for them, creating lasting memories and filling their lives with joy and laughter.
Known for her non-judgmental nature and positive outlook, Elaine touched the lives of many through her genuine kindness and compassion. She possessed a rare gift of being a great listener, always offering comfort and understanding to those who sought her advice. Her warm presence and wise counsel will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the community she was a part of.
Elaine dedicated her professional life to early childhood education, a field where her natural talent for connecting with children truly flourished. She had a remarkable ability to nurture and inspire young minds, and her impact on the lives of countless children was immeasurable. Elaine's dedication to education extended beyond her career, as she selflessly volunteered at her daughters' schools, making a difference in the lives of many students.
As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Elaine's love extended to the heart of her family. She always had fresh, healthy meals ready, nourishing both their bodies and their souls.

A memorial visitation for Elaine will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 2-3pm at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3pm in the chapel of funeral home.
