It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elfriede (Elfi) Martha Hugo, at the age of 86. Elfi passed away with her family at her bedside, holding her hand, at William Osler Brampton Civic Hospital.
Beloved wife and dance partner of Alfred Werner Hugo for an incredible sixty-five years. Loving Mother and best friend of Monica, dearest mother-in-law to Derek Tiessen. Elfi will now be reunited with her late son, Frank. Cherished Oma to Tyler and Nicholas. Forever in the hearts of Ulla, Klaus and Andrew, as well as all of her siblings and relatives in Germany.
After a beautiful and blessed life, the most important to her was always her family and home. She was truly beautiful inside and out and always had a twinkle in her eye. Her last three years were peacefully spent at home in the amazing and loving care of her husband Alfred.
Private cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private Celebration of Life in memory of Elfriede.
