Suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in St. Thomas, in her 75th year. She was born on August 25, 1938 in Montreal, Quebec. Beloved wife of Michael of St. Thomas. Dear mother of daughter Susan (Dale) of St. Thomas, son Geoff of Brampton, Daughter-in-law Helen of Georgetown. Loving grandmother of Adam, Lindsay Payne (Codie), Kristy and Michael. Predeceased by her parents James and Kathleen Hipson, sisters Joan Currie (George) and Marjorie Drane (John). Survived by her brother James Hipson (Jane). Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Thursday, August 1st from 10am until 12 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, 300 Balmoral Drive, at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to The Arthritis Society.
