Thinking of memories with my best best friend Dickie

God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be So he closed his arms around you And whispered "Come to Me" In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away Our Hearts were truly broken You fought so hard to stay But when we saw you sleeping Peaceful and free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer that again So keep your arms around him, Lord And give him special care Make up for all he suffered That seemed to us unfair So many times we've needed you, So many times we 've cried If love could have saved you, You never would have died

My very first memory of Everaly was at a Christmas Party. I had Amelie with me. He and Amelie shared candies and also taken it in turns to go and get them. He always had a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humour.
He grew the best tasting Kale, as well as other plants in the garden.
My daughter Amelie knows him as The Rockstar. She says he looks like one. With his long dreadlocks, suit and long coat. He was always dressed well, when not working in his garden or on his sofa at home with the dog. Poor dog got into trouble so many times for messing up his yard and garden. Yet, they both loved each other and Lilly was so faithful. laying next to him when he needed her.
Heaven has gained another angel. I am sure he will be entertaining everyone up there.
