Gordon is survived by his dear wife Barbara Good (nee Slater) for 65 years. Dear father to Kenneth Good (Sherry Good), Laurie McFall (Steve McFall), and Joanne Timer (Eric Steeves)
Cherished grandpa to Sarah Good, Katelyn Good, Mathew McFall, Andrew McFall, Zachary Timer, and Joshua Timer. Great Grandpa to Miles Fox, Cohan Fox, Mia Marshall, and Scarlett McFall.
Gord was born in Mimico, Ontario. Has always had an active life. It started in High School when he was captain of the football and basketball teams.
He joined the Department of Highways to apprentice as an Ontario Land Surveyor. This started his career in Land Surveying. During his career, he was employed by the Brampton Hydro, heading up the survey department for 26 years.
While working at the Hydro, he also had his own Surveying Company on the side. After retirement from Brampton Hydro, this became his full time job. He was an active member of the Ontario Land Surveyors (OLS) and sat on the Board of Directors until his passing.
Wanting to make a difference in people's lives, he was a volunteer parole officer for 15 years. Gord discovered Tai Chi in his 60's. He perfected the art and started teaching it until his passing.
Gord enjoyed singing and he shared his passion by joining the Brampton Festival Singers and was a member for many years.
Gord was a caring and proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all members of his family, friends and neighbors.
He was caring and loving to all, so his family asks that he be remembered for the joy he brought to others in life, rather than the sadness of his passing.
The family invites relatives and friends to share their memories of Gord during a memorial visitation, held at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 1pm-3pm. Celebration of Life service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 3pm, following the visitation
