Mr. John Owen "Jack" Kane

It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Kane announces his passing on August 8, 2011 at Credit Valley Hospital. Predeceased by his much loved wife Mary Alice. Beloved dad of Karen Douglas (Mike) of Palgrave, Cathy McKay (Ed) of Brampton, Terry (Marja) of Brampton, Sheila Neeser (Jost) of Caledon and Nora Fedchenko (Walter) of Georgetown. He will be dearly missed and remembered by his 14 grandchildren Sean (Lia) , Ashleigh (Patrick), Scott (Nathalie) Andrew, Melissa, Christopher, Teri-Lyn, Allison, Chelsey, Owen, Tamara, Ashley, James and Kyle, and his great - grandchildren Gerry, Alyssa, Emma and Braden. He is predeceased by his son Peter Charles and sister Mary Louise. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Jack was a long time employee of A & P. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at Greenway Retirement Village and Credit Valled Hospital. Family and Friends will be received at the ANDREWS COMMUNITY FUNERAL CENTRE (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton N. of Steeles Ave. 905-456-8190) on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marguerite D'Youville Roman Catholic Church (2490 Sandalwood Parkway East, Brampton). Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
