One of the good ones John was. We started out at the arena because he hockey or maybe because his dad was refereeing one of my brothers hockey games or maybe Balmoral School? Many memories through high school! We didn’t chat often I but remember our last conversations fondly of John sharing the birth of his grandchild and happy about his move to Orangeville. Kim my heart goes out to you, I’m so sorry for yours and the family’s loss. Beautiful Angel heaven has received!

Dear Kim and family. My deepest condolences. I am very saddened by the news. John was my first serious boy friend. During those early adolescent years (grade 8 & 9), I smile when I remember... wherever John was, Andy Babiak was sure to be nearby. They were the best of friends. John and Rob Pattison had an endless debate of whether football or soccer was more physically challenging. John always had the greatest respect for family. Hockey and cars. I was very sad to read of John's passing. You are in my thoughts today.
With great respect,
Jacquie Rode

John grew up as a neighbour, a friend and a teammate. He stood beside us at our wedding and was a life long friend. He stood beside Kim for a lifetime, she was the love of his life. Rest In Peace John, we will remember you always.
