Khaila Alissa Mason

It is with great sadness that we gather here today to say goodbye to Khaila Alissa Sentilla Mason at the young age of 17. Khaila was born in North York, Ontario on November 18th, 1999 and tragically passed away at home on October 20th, 2017 due to complications brought on by an epileptic seizure. Khaila was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 16. Khaila's dream was to become a makeup artist upon graduating high school due to medical issues she chose to take some time off deal with her health issues before starting a new chapter in her life. Khaila loved spending time with her best friends Austin and Destiny they were always there for each other through thick and thin. Khaila had a hard time expressing her feelings with her loved ones and was very private person, we’ve come to find out that she viewed her mother as her hero for working hard and providing for her as a single parent. She leaves behind to mourn her mother Amanda Burt and her father Ricardo Mason 4 siblings also her grandparents Cyril Burt AKA poppy her role model Debbie and Brenda Burt. Aunts: Ashley, Aimee and Sherry. Uncles: Kyle Mills and Huy Ly, cousins Ethan and Shanika. Numerous friends and family
