Loving partner to John Bartha for over 20 years. Beloved daughter to Stephen and Rosemary Holmes. Cherished daughter in law to John Bartha Sr. and Judit Komaromy. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
She was born at Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, N.B. and spent her early years enjoying an idyllic childhood playing in and around the St. Andrews area. The family moved to Thornhill, Ontario in 1987 where she attended St. Lukes elementary & St. Rob’s Secondary school. In 1997 they moved to Brampton, ON where Lacey attended Bramalea Secondary School.
Lacey spent several years living in Brampton where she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, John, before moving to Summerside, P.E.I. to be with her family. After a few years she moved back to Brampton and spent 10 cherished years helping her chosen sister raise 2 beautiful children.
In 2016 Lacey received her first diagnosis with Malignant Melanoma. After several years of treatments and exhausting every available option, she lost her hard-fought battle with cancer. She will be laid to rest with her family in St. Andrews, N.B.
