We may have missed playing with dolls and other fun toys,
We may have missed swapping clothes and talking about boys.
We may have missed dances or getting our first car,
And we even missed fighting over dads pickles in a jar.
It is true there are many things that we never shared or got to do,
But when we finally found each other it was as if I already knew you.
Your love of life was a great thing to see, as was your compassion for others,
And I loved that laugh that came out because of some comment from Shawn or your brother.
You are Caring,loving, always happy and soft spoken, 
We  reflect now, and we are truly heart broken.
Miss Lori,I speak with you now because I know that you are here,
I feel your presence within my heart and with each falling tear.
Look down and see us, your friends,your family, your beloved man,
We all miss you very much,it is truly hard for us to understand.
You no doubt will miss the life you had before you became ill,
You are now in a place of beauty though where time itself stands still.
Today you would tell Shawn and Jason, and all the rest who came,
I love you all, I am still here, it's just my being is not the same.
Your wrapped in the arms of God now, with your parents holding each hand,
It is a place of calming, a place of love,   it is indeed a most spiritual land.
It is with this loving visual,that if we allow ourselves to see,
That you were indeed sent as a gift,to help us, be all we could be.
You were called home way too early for those you have left behind, 
We didn't want to lose that warm laugh,or the soul that was so kind.
The life and the Journey of an angel is hard, it is never a simple thing,
Lori you shared your love and yourself,and now you have your wings.
I shall try to move on now and keep your memories for all time,

We find great comfort in knowing that Lori is in a place where there is no more suffering and is surrounded by her parents and bronxy.  Lori you were a great sister-in-law, you were always there to talk and laugh with.  When I needed it, I found great support from you.  Auntie Lori will be greatly missed by her nephew Josh.  Josh thanks you for all the love, support and treats you gave him.  We hope that Shawn and Jason find comfort in the love of their family and friends during this time.
