It is with great sadness and in her 82nd year that we announce the passing of Maria Angelica D’Souza who passed away at Brampton Civic Hospital on December 27, 2014. Beloved Mom to Marie (Santan D’Souza), Anne (Lucas Rodrigues), Gasper D’Souza, Desmond (Alice D’Souza) and Lynette (Emmanuel D’Souza). Maria leaves behind her sister Clara Braganza, and brother Thomas Gomes, and her grandchildren Alycia Rodrigues, Ariellia Rodrigues, Carlyle Rodrigues, Stacia D’Souza, Ignatius D’Souza, Celeste D’Souza, Thomas D’Souza, and Emily D’Souza. Visitation will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON, 905-456-8190) on Monday, December 29 from 5-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marguerite d’Youville Roman Catholic Church (2490 Sandalwood Parkway, East, Brampton) on Tuesday December 30 at 10a.m. A burial to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the church.
