Mariana Brum Faria Almeida

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at her home in Malton, Ontario at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Edmundo Almeida of 50 years. Loving mother to Elizabeth and Diane Almeida. Cherished grandmother of Justin and his wife Ariel and Noah Spagnuolo, Dante and Danielle Onisto and Sean Munro.

She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, her extended family and numerous friends.

She left everyone with the fondest memories of love and kindness. We all have a story to tell and it will always bring a smile to our faces. Her home was a welcoming place to all that visited and you always knew that she would have something special baked when you arrived. Family gatherings were one of her favorite things. She prepared all day long looking forward to having her friends and family together to enjoy a meal.

Mariana was well-known for her love of sewing and enjoyed gardening and taking care of all her indoor plants.

Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Ave) 905-456-8190, on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 from 2pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Airways Parish Church,7407 Darcel Ave, Mississauga, ON., at 11:30am on Friday December 15, 2023. Entombment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Mississauga.

She was loved in life and will not be forgotten in death.
