His sister Ann and brother Paul with their extended families reside in Ireland.
Mark was proud to have served his apprenticeship within the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. In 1989, he immigrated to Canada and with much success and acclaim worked within the automotive industry until his death.
His loves other than family were Rock and Roll, fast bikes and sport, especially rugby. Part of Mark’s heart was always in Ireland; he enjoyed Irish music and watching his daughters perform Irish dance. While in Canada, Mark was part of the Georgetown Meteors soccer club for many years.
Most would say that his fun sense of humour, Irish wit, generosity and gentlemanly candor are what they will miss the most about Mark. He never missed an opportunity to catch someone off guard with a good story or joke and had the true talent to keep them guessing until the punch line.
Mark was a devoted husband and father that never missed a chance to talk to others about how proud he was of his girls. Many relaxing vacations saw him fishing or sitting by the fire listening to music with his family.
He will be missed by all whose lives he touched, Rest In Peace.
