Mary had a passion of caring for other people and was a dedicated employee for many years at the Salvation Army Grace Hospital in Toronto.
Mary was always thinking of how she could help and assist others, whether it be for her family, church, neighbourhood or wherever she saw a need. Her life was a living example of her favourite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Mary adored her large extended family whom she loved dearly and thoroughly enjoyed their many visits and time together.
After retirement, Mary and Charlie took many trips taking them to many destinations. They wintered for a number of years in Florida, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Mary will be missed by her family and friends.
Special thanks to the entire staff of Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care Residence for the love and support that was extended to Mary. We salute all our “Frontline Heroes” at Cawthra Gardens.
Due to COVID guidelines, there will be a private family graveside service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
