It feels like just yesterday when i walked in to your hospital room to realize you had left us. That night i left a piece of my heart at the hospital that i can never retrieve. That day my girls and i lost our best friend,our travelling buddy and our last voice on the phone every night saying goodnight. Everyone says that they will move on and eventually the memories will fade but that is the last thing that i want for them. I want them to remember every little detail,every hug and kiss, every smile and every phonecall. i still find myself trying to call him each day just to hear his voice so i do not forget it. I love u dad and will never stop missing u

I can't believe it's been a year already since you left us. Now that I am a grandfather, I often find myself thinking about the special relationships you had with your grandchildren and hope I will always have the same with mine. It has been a couple of days now since the funeral of a wonderful man - Moe Valade.  It was a very emotional day for the family and friends who were able to attend. Just by the amount of people that came to the viewings and the funeral he effected so many people during his life. He always looked at the brighter side of things and that is what made him who he was. I am proud to say that I was able to call him "dad".  I will cherish all the memories that I was able to have with him. He has truly effected my life in so many ways.  I will miss him forever.  Love always your 2nd daughter.

Peter, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Moe, it's just not going to be the same without you.  I am so fortunate to have had you in my life to create some wonderful memories.  God Bless to your family and know we all cherish them as we did you.

As today we say our Good-byes to such an increadible man. Moe you have touch our lives in somemany ways. Everyone that has crossed paths with you will have "Moe" stories. And Never forget your famous Smile. You were the type of guy who after meeting you, you could count on you just like a dad. Love my time with you at SLG.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Pat, Chris, Carrie and all the rest of your family. But as we say good-bye to you we also get to remember all the good that you brought to everyone around you. Which will never fade. I have wonderful Moe memoeries that I will never forget and no matter what job I end up next, take everything that you tought me, with me. As tough as you were a boss, you were always a very caring guy when it came to having to talk to you about somethings. And your famous....I don't know, just get it done. Oh and we can't forget your full fledge dedication to the Toronto Maple leafs. You were always up for a good debate on them winning the cup and when. True Die Hard fan.

I will never forget the first time I meet Moe, it was my Interview for a job at SLG and how he made me feel so warm and comfortable with his big smile and kind words, and from that day my life changed for the better. He was a wonderful Man. I will truly Miss you. RIP Moe.

We are very sad at the sudden loss of Moe, we always had great times together when we meet up, and distance didn't make any difference, we could always pick up where we left off.

We will miss hearing his unique deep warm tones of his voice on the phone across the miles. He was a warm and loving family man, a friend, cousin and mate.

I was at SLG from 2000 to 2002 and Moe was truly a great boss to work for. He was always calm and collected and he provided me with inspiration when things to me seemed impossible. During my time at SLG, I know that my colleagues and I totally admired and respected Moe and that he will be sadly missed.

Although it is of little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some comfort to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very happy and productive life.

Not since my dear long departed uncle have I met a man so kind and sincere.
Moe, I hardly got the chance to know you, but in the short time that I did, you touched my heart with the way you loved your family. You showed such love to your kids, your loving wife and your beautiful grandchildren.
Go to your maker knowing that you have a strong and wonderful family that will hold each other when they need to, and remember all the great memories you have left them with. You will never be forgotten.
