Passed away peacefully in Orangeville at the age of 86 on June 29, 2015. Mavis will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Valerie, Julia (Robert), and Sharon. Loving Nan to Ian (Caroline), Brandon (Alisa), Jason (Lara), Kyle (Vanessa), Michael (Megan), Jennifer and Shane. Great-Nan to Avery, Evan, Henry, Colin, Josh, Ryder, and Ella. Mum was also mother-in-law to Glen, Kevin and Patrick, who will all miss her along with a huge circle of friends, including Walk-A-Mall and Aquafit. Mum joins her loving husband Eric with a glass of red in one hand and a scrabble board in the other, as they cruise into the sunset. A Celebration of Mavis’ Life will occur at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Rd. Brampton, ON. 905-456-8190) on Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Mavis’ name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
