It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Norma Joan Dodd on November 25, 2023 at Brampton Civic Hospital with family by her side at the age of 90. Beloved wife to the late Arthur Dodd for 57 years. Loving mother to Anne (Andrew Donaldson). Cherished grandmother to Alexander, Eric and Craig.
Dear sister to Vivian Roxborough and predeceased by her siblings the late James Clegg, Barbara Entwistle and Adele Bates. She was a cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews in Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond and will be missed dearly by many.
She was born on January 7, 1933, in Alderwood, ON to Albert and Nellie Clegg and was raised in Toronto. She enjoyed gardening, travelling and spending time with her family. Her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd, Brampton, Ontario on Saturday December 16, 2023, from 10am-11am, with a Celebration of Life to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the Canadian Hearing Society in her honour.
