I do not believe that we ever met however I always felt a great respect for you due to the great fondness and respect with which Paul spoke of you. Paul and I rallied together for a year or so before you were married. It was with great sadness that I learned of his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your family. 
Besides being a truly upstanding genteman, I always knew Paul as a person who could laugh at the rough roads of life and always come back for more. He had been a good friend and will be missed in circles beyond your family.

I've had the pleasure and honor of working with Paul for the better part of ten years and I am truly saddened to hear of his passing.  My heart goes out to you Sheree and the family.  I considered Paul a friend and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations.  Whether our dialog centered on the pursuits of an elusive trout or the challenges and attributes of a new business offering, he was always passionate and thoroughly engaged.  May he rest in peace and may you be comforted by the wonderful memories you've shared.

Dear Sheree and family:  Paul always had a glint in his eye like he knew a secret no one else was privy too...maybe he was just thinking about fishing!  He was often my knight in shining armour and my biggest supporter within the ORIMS community.  I could always count on seeing his mischievous smile at any event and he was the first to offer  assistance for projects.  I will miss his gentle, witty advice and his steadfast encouragement. We will miss Paul Terribly in the legal department at CSA - he was our ally in risk management and he knew CSA every which way, inside and out.  The department has contributed $250 to the Heart and Stroke foundation in his name.  With sincere condolences to all of Paul's family.  He left us too soon.

To all of Paul's loved ones: For the last few years, I've been CSA and Canada's representative at IEC TC 61, where Paul spent some time working on development of an international standard for flexible sheet heating elements for room heating (a.k.a. radiant ceiling heating panels). I learned a lot from Paul on this topic, but mainly wanted to pass on some comments from those at TC 61 that remember Paul. 

From Derek Johns (past chair of TC 61): Hi David, Thanks for sharing the sad news about Paul. I remember him well.  If wasn't for Paul we would never have reached an international agreement and been able to publish IEC 60335-2-96. Please pass on my condolences to his family and CSA colleagues. Regards, Derek

From Neil Mosely (NZ) who was on the Part 2-96 working group with Paul: Very sad to hear of Paul's death. He was a great guy. I was his supplier of Pukeko feathers for fly tying. Apparently they are highly prized in Canada as the blue is the last to lose its colour in their deep lakes.

Sheree I am regrettably out of the province at this time and unable to be on hand to share in your lost and celebration of Paul's life.
I along with his Cape Cod fishing buddies will always be thankful for the time a memories we shared with Paul. I will always remember with great fondness his grin and excitement as he and I stood side by side on the night he caught and released his first keeper bass. It has been an honour to have shared a small part of life with Paul on those annual fishing trips.
