We wish you our sincere condolences on the passing of Aunty Pauline. I haven't known Aunty Pauline that long, and I remember the first time I met her. It was at a party at Aunty Rose's place in the winter, and I was standing in front of the tv when someone yelled, "Joe, move out of the way...Aunty Pauline is watching the hockey game!" I thought, wow, this cute little lady loves the Leafs? How awesome is that!

And what was even more awesome is that Aunty Pauline always remembered me, and always asked Stephanie Pereira-Vincec about me when I wasn't able to join Steph on the visit. And she did the same for the boys, asking for them by name when they weren't with us. What a kind and loving lady. She always made you feel special when you were with her.

From one Leafs fan to another, rest in peace Aunty Pauline. You will be missed.

PS. Aunty Pauline: The Leafs badly need some divine intervention. Perhaps you could put in a few good words...?

Rose, very sorry to hear of Pauline's demise.  It is indeed very sad when someone passes away.  I am sure you know, there was nothing more you could have done for Pauline in this life. Hilary and I were lucky enough to spend some time with her when we visited you some years ago. We will continue to pray for her soul and to give Florence and you strength to bear the loss.

You were never a burden to our family as you gave us the energy to care for you. You were always a joy and we cherish all the fond memories we have shared with you.   

Thank you for being there for Andrew and Amanda when they were young and you held them in your arms before they began to walk.  As you grew older and weaker, the roles changed and the grand kids grew stronger and became very responsible in caring for you; always keeping you safe.

Thank you Nanny for trusting in me and allowing me to cut your hair. We had our private conversations during that time and your famous words were "please cut my hair short".

When we enter the home, you are greatly missed and the empty room is a reminder that you are physically gone but your spirit and memories will be with us forever.

The timing of your passing is very significant as you waited so long for our family to be together as ONE. The wedding was done and Glenn and his family were here in Canada with you.
