After 86 years of a life well lived Peter lost his short battle with cancer peacefully at home on June 5, 2013. Lovingly remembered by his wife Rita (Wardle). Cherished father of Linda (Tim Sullivan), Eleanor Gray, Ian (Jane Alsop). Adored Grandpa of Dianne, Maureen, David, Heather, Adam, Aislinn, Amanda, Aline and Eric. Great GG of Devlin, Bryce, Alise, Nora, Lillian, and Hunter. Peter will be missed by his brother Douglas (Scotland) along with many family and friends in both Canada and Scotland. Peter was a great dancer and a lover of strawberry tarts. Visitation will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Rd, Brampton, ON, 905-456-8190) on Saturday June 8, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday June 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
