

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Barry Cordingley. Surrounded by his loved ones, Bob passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 78.
Beloved husband and best friend of Bernadette (nee Marchand) for 57 years. Loving father to Barry (Tracy), Erin (Jason), Sarah (Adam), Sheri. Dear grandfather to Autumn (predeceased), Kassandra, Kayleigh, Courtney, Megan, Brendan; Josh, Cam, Paige; Marshall, James, Scarlett. Devoted brother of Sue Furanna, Jill Laxton, and is lovingly remembered by his extended family.
Dedicated employee of CSA Group for 42 years, who was always available to share his wealth of knowledge. His friendships within the Retirees Club remained an important part of his life.
Bob was also a grateful friend of Bill W. for over 36 years and his life was enriched by the fellowship.
Bob loved Classic Cars especially his '69 Barracuda and enjoyed participating in car shows throughout Ontario. He also loved travelling, especially to visit his sisters Sue & Jill and their families in Calgary.
Bob was a kind, gentle man. He will be profoundly missed by his loving family and dear friends.
The family invites relatives and friends to share their memories of Bob during memorial visitation, held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre on Saturday January 10, 2026 from 1pm-3pm. Celebration of Bob's Life service will be held on the same day at 3pm, in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
