Rolando was born on October 26, 1949, in San Juan Sacatepequez, Guatemala. He was the third of three children. He was married to Enma Garcia and had three children; Erwin, Jaime & Julieta.
His grandchildren; Diego, Sebastian, Alejandro, Krista, Marcelo, Santiago & Enma Sophia.

A visitation for Rolando will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, ON L6T5N9. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Rosary Catholic, 139 Martin St., Milton, ON L9T 2R3.
