It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our adored mother Ruth on January 17, 2023. Passing peacefully at her residence, Woodhall Park Retirement Village. Brampton, ON with family by her side.
Dearest daughter of the late William Smith, and Myrtle McConnel. Reunited with her beloved Husband Colin of 65 years.
Ruth was a loving and devoted mother to Dennis (deceased), Donna (deceased)(Thomas), Darlene (Kenneth), Wayne (Corinne), Michael (deceased)(Elizabeth), Sherry (Michael), and was Nana to 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Ruth’s loving, and witty personality will be missed by family and friends and all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodhall Park Retirement Village for the exceptional care they provided our mother and the love and support they have provided to the family.
Ruth’s wishes are for a private burial with her family. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
