Beloved wife and best friend of the late Brian Gedney. Loving mother of: Sean (Lindsay), Andrew (Julie) and Cassandra (Willow). Dear Grandma G to McKenna May Gedney and Kayleigh Grace Gedney.Cherished sister of Bev Robbins. Sandra will be forever loved by all her family, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She openly welcomed people into her home and accepted her children’s friends as her own without hesitation.
Sandra was born in Toronto on July 20, 1959, to the late Sandy and Catherine McAllan of Edinburgh, Scotland. She lived in Brampton for much of her life and remained close to family and friends and the community she grew up in.
The family invites relatives and friends to share their memories of Sandra during memorial visitation, held at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre on Friday, March 20th, 2026, from 4pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life/Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11am, in the chapel of the funeral home. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Reception following the service.
