Teresita "Tessie" Acosta, 57, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2013 to be reunited with her husband, Diomedes; her father, Pergentino Sr.; and her sister, Olive.

Teresita Mosquito Acosta was born on March 18, 1955 in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. She immigrated to Canada in 1971 and met her husband, Diomedes Acosta, while ice skating. They later married on June 14, 1978 and went on to have three beautiful children. With her kind heart and infectious smile, Teresita was always the life of the party. Her spirit will be sorely missed.

Teresita is survived by her two daughters, Michelle and Geraldine; her son, Dennis; her granddaughter, Katherine Mackenzie; her mother, Emilia; her brother Pergentino Jr. and other siblings around the world.
