As a fellow Lion, I always looked forward to receiving Dave "Muddy" Watters' newsletters. Dave blended a deep and compassionate caring for others with a tremendous wit, and wonderful sense of humour. I will miss you my friend. If Dave was authoring this note he would end it with "scribe out" .

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of our dearly departed Lion Dave WATTERS MJF (Melvin Jones Fellow), Recipient of Judge Brian Stephenson Award and Helen Keller Award, Life Member of Lions Clubs International and Past Club Secretary.

We mourn his loss with his family and members of his BRAMPTON BRAMALEA LIONS CLUB.

Do take solace in the self-evident truth that "when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure" and "death ends a life, not a relationship".

May God grant peace to his departed soul and strength to the family members to bear the loss.

To the Watters family. We are surely going to miss him and are sorry for your loss. A great friend of ours through Emmanuel over the past 40 years. I sat and talked to Dave 2 weeks this past Sunday at Church and exchanged many thoughts. A great man, husband, grand father and great grand father. We will miss him very much.
