It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Warlita Sandoval. She peacefully passed on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 78, surrounded by those whom she loved most. She fought a long and courageous battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA), which in the end claimed her life.
Warlita was a beloved wife to Asterio for 54 years, who cared for her and loved her until the very end. A loving mom to her daughters, Maryanne and son-in-law Jamie, Geraldine and son-in-law John, Mary Beth and son-in-law Matteo, and her son Robert and daughter-in-law Kelly.
She was also an adored Lola to her 3 grandsons, Mason, Myles and Aidan. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her grandchildren who will always cherish the time she spent taking care of all of them before they were able to attend school. They will always remember the road trips to the mall or library and the frequent park visits where even at almost 70 years old she would ride down the slide with them.
Warlita was born in La Union, Philippines and was the youngest daughter to Aurelia (Orallo) Obaldo and Pedro Obaldo. She is survived by brothers Jimmy and Bing, and will be joining her brothers, Larry, Ted, Pinong, and sisters Auring and Narding in paradise.
Mom enjoyed family gatherings, music and dancing especially to tango/cha-cha. She also had a green thumb and loved floral arrangements, landscaping and gardening. Mom also enjoyed trying her luck at the casino and in the last few years she kept her mind sharp trading on the stock market.
We will miss her infectious and proud smile and genuine care she provided for those close to her. Thank you mom for everything you’ve done for us in your lifetime. It brings our family comfort in knowing you are at peace and will provide eternal love and guidance to us all.
