Cliff is survived by his dear wife of 64 years Jean Ayotte (nee Morton) and his sisters Edna and Loretta. Beloved father and hero to Bill, Bernadette (deceased) and Tim. Much loved father-in-law to Beverley, Rebecca & Rick. Adored Grampa to his grandchildren Noah, Kate, Matthew, Jessica, Lizzetta & Teresa and to his great-grandchildren Hayley, Cameron, Gracie & Ben.
Born in Highland Grove, Ontario on August 2, 1936, Cliff grew up on a farm with his 9 sisters & brothers – so many wonderful stories & memories! Cliff & Jean were married on June 20, 1959 and began their life together here, relocating to Brampton in 1970 where they raised their family. Cliff & Jean encouraged their children to be active in sports and he rarely missed a game and also did some softball coaching over the years. Cliff & Jean enjoyed many years at their trailer in Southampton in the company of wonderful friends and neighbours.
A friend to all, Cliff’s cheerful good nature and genuine kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
