William (Bill) Arthur Whitten

February 17, 1941 – September 18, 2016

Retired Owner of Rosetown Central Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd, Brampton. Long time member of the Bramalea Lion’s Club, Ontario Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors (ORAC), Royal Canadian Legion, Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons, HOG (Harley Owners Group) and Captain of the

‘Cat’s Meow’.

Bill passed peacefully at Bethell Hospice on Sunday September 18, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He celebrated his 75th birthday in February of this year and his residence was Caledon East.

Bill was the loving and devoted husband of Jo-Ann (Dolden) for 56 years and dear father of Dan (Lynda) of Caledon East, Shawn, Kevin (Irene), Ryan (Laura) of Brampton.

Cherished Papa to Stephen (Nicole), Katie, Tyler, Kory, Shannon, Mackenzie, Daniel, Justin, Michaela and James.

Dear brother of Ed (deceased) and wife Helen.

The family will receive their friends at Andrews Funeral Home, 8190 Dixie Rd, Brampton on Monday September 26th, 2016 at 6:00-9:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday September 27th, 2016 at 5:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior to service time.

A reception will follow the service at Andrews Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers (due to severe allergy in family), memorial donations to Bethell Hospice, (15835 McLaughlin Rd, Inglewood, ON L7C 1H4) would be appreciated.
