Angie D'Acunti

Angie cared about two things; her faith and her family. Moving from New Jersey with 5 young kids, Angie and Mike raised their family in North Miami Beach. While Mike worked two jobs, Angie worked to help get the kids what they needed. Whether it was public, Catholic or private school, Angie knew what each child required. She was the rock. Angie was kind, loving, smart, creative, intuitive, funny, encouraging and fair. When she needed to be, she was tough, strict and feisty.

Angie loved to spend time with her family, celebrating holidays and

birthdays and going to the beach. Always close to her relatives, she saw her New Jersey family often. When Angie and Mike became empty nesters, they traveled with her sisters and brother-in-law around the Americas and throughout Europe.

Angie was a CCW member and found time to work with the handicap/special needs adults at Schott center, doing arts and crafts with the “kids.” Besides babysitting, “Grandma” and “Pop-pop,” attended countless dance recitals, band competitions, concerts and whatever their grandkids were involved in.

Angie leaves behind her husband of nearly 70 years, Mike, their 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and beloved sister.

Our hearts will ache for a while, but our memories will always remain. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and we are grateful for the many years of laughter, love and moments we shared with her.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St Clement Catholic Church, 1104 North Alexander Street, Plant City, Florida 33563, on September 11, 2026, at 10:00 am.
