I was so blessed to know Grace and have her as my sweet Mother-In-Law for 30 years. She frequently sent me emails and always referred to herself as YOM (Your Other Mother), and that was a reflection of our special bond. She accomplished so many things in life, both professional and personal, and was a wonderful role model in many ways. She was always encouraging and supportive. I loved my YOM, she will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family, friends, and Alpha Delta Kappa sisters (like me) who have been blessed to be a part of the life and activities of Annie Grace--she was one of the first "sisters" I met as a new member 30+ years ago and quickly made me feel welcome, shared with me her knowledge, and always was an example of what our organization means. She will be dearly missed, but I'm sure always remembered through the legacy she has left and the continuing success of the school in Zambia. With deepest sympathy, Joan (FL Gamma Omicron chapter, Sarasota)

Thank you for being an important part of our family. I realize now as an adult you came into a very broken family when you married Grandaddy, but your perseverance and dedication to family kept you strong. I will never forget some of the personal advice you gave me as a single mom and the encouragement to finish school in order to support myself and be a strong woman like you did. You were a strong role model and I appreciate your love and support always. You will be missed, but I find comfort in knowing you are in a much better place, no longer feeling lonely. I will certainly miss your weekly emails to check in and giving me a synopsis of your blood sugar levels for the week! Love you Mimi! xo
