He was born on January 16, 1945, in Guantanamo, Cuba to Emilia and Julio Martin. He was married to Arminda Cordova. He was passionate about farm life, roosters (gallos), baseball and above all his family and friends.
He is survived by five daughters, Violeta Martin, Yolanda Cumpston, Janelys Martin-Morales, Yamile Martin, and Joanna Gonzalez; three sons, Armando Martin (Piti), Armando Martin, Jr. (Pipo), and Rodolfo Gonzalez; nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Other immediate family are brothers, Juan Martin and Julio Martin, and sisters Maida Martin and Caridad Martin.
A visitation will be held on October 31, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 2:00 pm.
A committal service is scheduled to take place at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm.
