

Arthur was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to the late Antoine J. Boudreau and Blanche (Deschenes) Boudreau. He is survived by his siblings Muriel Gouveia, Donald Boudreau and his wife Maureen, Robert Boudreau and his wife “Sarah “Sally”, Jacqueline Halunen and her husband Theodore “Ted”, and Gerald Boudreau and his wife Debra. He is predeceased by his brother Norman Boudreau.
In kindergarten, Arthur met Sandra (Barros) Boudreau. During his childhood, he kept a close friendship in school with her and as they reached their teenage years, they started dating. In April of 1967, they were married at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Arthur spent many years working as a Cutter at Cape Cod Sportswear in New Bedford and during his tenure there he had the pleasure of working with his sister Muriel and brother-in-law Frank. Arthur was known as the person who would try to make light of having to work by teasing and throwing things at his sister for fun while working.
Arthur’s hobbies included raising homing pigeons as a kid and breeding Alaskan Malamute puppies with his wife Sandra. He also loved cars. He spent most of his life working as an auto body mechanic repairing, building, and painting cars. He took great pride in his many cars and cherished the time he got to spend passionately working on them with his sons, close friends and family.
Arthur also loved sports. As a kid, he was a huge hockey fan. Over the years, he regularly watched football, hockey and baseball. His favorite teams were the Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox and after moving to Florida became a big fan of the Rays, Buccaneers, and Lightning. Sandra relays his love for sports, as “he loved it all”.
In addition to his wife Sandra, Arthur is survived by his children Annette Leitner and her husband Randy, Brian Boudreau, Kelly Boudreau, and her husband Erik, and Cory Boudreau and his wife Rachel. He was blessed with many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also has several cousins, nieces and nephews. His jokes and laughter will be remembered by all who knew him. His entire family would describe him as the “life of the party” and once Dad (Pepere) showed up, the party would begin.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home located at 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida, 33511.
