Barbara retired after a long career in banking. She was honored to be a member of Delta Beta Master Sorority. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards and board games. She enjoyed baking. Anyone who tasted her deserts, could definitely attest to that fact. She also enjoyed Bunco and water aerobics with her FeatherRock swim group.
She loved animals. Her favorite place to visit was the Zoo with her family. She adored her cats, Kiki and Maggie Mae. If given the chance she would have had a house full of penguins running around, but she liked warm weather so she stuck with her fur babies.
With a zest for life, she believed in having fun no matter what. Her sense of humor was evident to everyone that knew her. She laughed loud and continuously. On the other hand, if you ever needed a friend to listen to you or cry with you, she was the one to call. She was a magician at getting stains out of everything! Let’s not forget she was very smart and remembered everything…even those things her kids wished she would forget.
Barbara had a green thumb. She loved her flowers, especially Orchids. If you would like to donate flowers, please send an Orchid or flower to be planted in her honor by her family’s church.
Barbara requested that her remains be cremated. When the appropriate time comes, her wish was to have her ashes be distributed in the “Most beautiful place in the world”, the Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ.
Barbara is survived by three sons, Richard (Cheri) Cavage, Dale (Bonnie) Cavage, Ronald Cavage; one daughter, Jill (Danny) Conrad; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
