

Born in Sarasota, Florida, she was the first daughter of James W. Roberts and Ruth B. Levins. Bobbie Jo graduated from Brandon High School in 1967 and was employed at Hillsborough Community College(HCC) Ybor Campus until her retirement in 2005.
As a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Palm River Campus. She was very active in different areas of the church from Bible Studies to Sunday School. Since the death of her beloved Jody, she felt it in her heart to give back to the widowed ladies of the church. She planned every month a Tea Social at the church, and gave everyone an opportunity to share their hearts as a way to release their grief.
Barbara will forever be remembered for her love of Christ, love for others and a very giving heart. Her children and grandchildren will be her legacy that lives on forever.
Survived by her three daughters Karen(Brad) Ter Maat, Katrina(David) Van Grootheest, and Jinnie(Einar) Stephenson. Also two children from her beloved Joe(Cortnie) Weeks and Melissa(Matt) Capello. Her Love beyond measure her grandchildren, Justin(Megan Joy) Van Grootheest, WendiLyn Stephenson, Megan Nikol Van Grootheest, Victoria Gupton, Gwendolyn Gupton, Erin Van Grootheest, Elizabeth Gupton, Ian Van Grootheest, Xandrea Weeks, Alyssa Ter Maat, Zavier Weeks, Abigail Gupton, Dante Capello, Zachary Ter Maat, and Kahlen Weeks. Her two loving brothers Jim(Carol) Roberts and Rick(Dawn) Roberts. One loving sister Lynda(Sam) Clark, too many nieces and nephews to name, and sister not by blood, but her best friend since childhood, Evelyn Whitlock-Wensyel
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jody L. Weeks, her parents James W. Roberts and Ruth B. Roberts, and a niece Angela Mc Donald.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for her on Friday, November 10, 2017, 2 pm at Bell Shoals Baptist Church Palm River, 5415 Palm River Rd, Tampa, FL 33619
