Bernard (Bern) G. Ginaitt Jr was called home to the Lord on May 27, 2026 at Hawthorne Rehabilitation Center in Brandon, Fl. Bern was the son of Margaret (Larkin) Ginaitt and Bernard (Barney) G. Ginaitt Sr. Born in Macon, Ga on July 2, 1943. He was a loving husband to Maureen (Hart) Ginaitt for 53 years before her passing in 2020.
Bern graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial H.S. before serving in the U.S. Air Force and then with the Warwick Fire Department for 26 years where he retired as Asst. Fire Marshal.
He is the brother of the late, Richard (Dick) Ginaitt and is survived by his sister Ann Rich (Ginaitt), son Bernie Ginaitt (Tampa Pd,ret.) and wife Lisa, granddaughters Kennedy Ginaitt, Brooke Ginaitt and Sydney Ginaitt.
Visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on June 4, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. A Committal Service will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on June 4, 2026, at 11:00 am.
