HALPERT, Bernice N, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Riverview. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max Halpert, her parents; Roy and Myrtle Griffin, sister; Nell Clark and her husband CG and a grandchild, Aaron Carroll. Bernice is survived by her children; Lauren Kaye Brown and husband Kevin, and Marilyn Jane Carroll, her step-children; Stephen Halpert and Adrienne Halpert, a grandchild; Austin Carroll, great-grandchildren; Kaleb Carroll, Ashtin Carroll, and Alyssa Carroll, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Services will be on Tuesday, February 20 2018 at 11 am with family to accept friends 1 hour prior to service at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery. It was Bernice’s wish that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Brandon at (813) 689-1204 in her name.
